Having some technical difficulties the last couple days. I think simultaneously capturing video from the camcorder and audio through my mic and mixer may be too much for my computer to handle. The processor itself should be fine, the only thing I call into question is my amount of RAM. I’m only running 1GB of RAM. It has been sufficient the last 14 or so episodes, but the last few episodes are really starting to have some issues in the capture. To solve this I may drop down to the guest mic and plug directly into the camcorder for recording. I’m going to play with this, because upgrading the computer right now is out of the question.
How this impacts you. A Thursday episode should be posted some way somehow tonight. I promise that. I am, however, going to have to completely re-shoot it once I am home tonight.
Unfortunately, I’m going to be traveling today and didn’t pre-tape an episode for you guys. I could take one before I left and Edit it once I got back and upload it after rendering, but by then, it would be Thursday. So… I’m not doing an episode today and will have you guys an episode Tomorrow.
